We welcome our guests, but of course as well all other guests who are looking for a restaurant in Badenweiler with excellent cuisine and a nice ambience. For our hotel guests we recommend: When booking your stay, book our attractive half-board offer with a 2-, 3- or 4-course dinner menu! Our reception team will be happy to advise you. The half-board menu is reassembled daily. Of course, our day and external guests can also enjoy the half-board offer. In addition you can choose from our menu "The Special" with selected dishes, which is regularly from our chef Hr. Gmelin reassembled.


Not only the loving decor of our restaurant offers optimal conditions for a wonderful evening. The wonderful view of the Rhine Valley, the Markgräflerland and the Vosges sweetens your restaurant stay. In the mostly very good weather conditions, romantic sunsets are guaranteed. In summer you can enjoy our beautiful sun terrace overlooking our beautifully landscaped garden.

KITCHENCHEF MR. DIRK GMELIN

Our chef was born and grew up in Badenweiler. He trained as a cook at the Grandhotel Römerbad Badenweiler. His apprenticeship took him to the kitchen of Alfons Schubeck and Heinz Winkler. The beautiful area around Badenweiler, as well as the extraordinary opportunity to significantly shape the outstanding gastronomy in the Park Hotel & Spa KATHARINA, finally brought him back to his birthplace. His culinary delights are mainly based in French cuisine. A clear aroma picture, as well as 5-6 good components define his plate dishes. The regional and international dishes offer fresh produce, a depth of taste and above all a great deal of creativity. To convey the enjoyment of our hotel and restaurant guests is Dirk Gmelin's priority! His favorite place in the hotel is therefore the kitchen. In a young, dynamic team, with fun at work and great food delicious dishes to create his great passion.
